Calcites from St Andreasberg are some of the most iconic and classic specimens from the locality. This attractive small miniature display specimen hosts sharp, lustrous, translucent, prismatic scalenohedral crystals of white color colorless Calcite measuring up to 1.6 cm sitting on matrix. Good quality all around, and a nice example of the material from St Andreasberg. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#702). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Velt" November-December 2017). A lovely German classic from the famous locality.
