Item Description
A VERY rarely seen specimen of Calcite from near the village of Coxsackie south of Albany. The piece features a semi-vitreous, pale yellow color, gemmy, compressed rhombohedron of Calcite on minor matrix. I've never seen a piece of Calcite from this locality before, so it's a great piece for any Calcite collector to add to their collectio. Ex Cynthia Payne Collection.
