Item Description
A rarely seen Calicte from the Superior district in southern-central Arizona. This is from the well-known Magma Mine, as the crystallization dictates. This piece features a few sharp, lustrous, gemmy, light pinkish color (possibly Mn-bearing) scalenohedra on matrix. The largest Calcite measures 2.0 cm long. Hard to find, and more than worthwhile to pick up for any Arizona collector. This one is from the collection of Cynthia Payne. Very good quality and hard to find.
