Item Description
Mineral specimens of ANY species are RARE from this well-known California island. This showy combination piece features a field of gray rosettes of translucent, flattened calcite rhombs next to a field of lustrous, translucent, nubby aggregates of creamy dolomite blades on limonite matrix. The calcite fluoresceses a modest purplish. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection with an old collection label on the back. A must for the California locality collector!
