Item Description
This piece is a wonderful small cabinet sized display specimen of the well known "Desert Rose" specimens found all over North Africa. This particular specimen is from a place called Ain Umm Dabadib in Egypt. The piece is essentially a "floater" group of tabular Calcite crystals that are completely enveloped / included by sand from the Sahara Desert. No major damage, just a few small rough spots, and very showy from either side.
