Item Description
An aesthetic and complex cluster of calcite crystals attached to a shard of matrix from the famous and now-closed Elmwood Mine. The very glassy crystals are transparent to translucent and have variable shades of amber. Most crystals have the highly desirable golden-amber, gemmy terminations. The top crystal is doubly terminated and twinned. With the multiple terminations, I count only two gently bruised tips and just a trivial bit of edgewear. These are certainly not a detraction to this showy and excellent specimen. Highly representative material from this noted locale. Ex Consie Prince Collection. Valued at $300-400. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON.
