Calcite (Cobaltoan)

Item Description

This is a wonderful example of INTENSE pink, neon-colored Cobaltoan Calcite. The crystals are about as strong as it get with regard to color. This is a good "hand" sized small cabinet example from more recent mining in the area. There are a few cleaved crystals (including the main one at the top), but it still has great color, and good three-dimensional quality. The largest individual crystal measures 4.2 cm. The piece comes with a label from Brice and Christophe Gobin. Despite the damage, the piece still carries of price of $700 due to the color and size.
