Item Description

From Morocco, in several large finds averaging a decade apart, have come these gorgeous hot neon pink clusters of intergrown calcites, colored by minute inclusions of cobalt. While cobalt rich calcite comes from other places, these are among the most colorful - and large - ever seen. Also, they are affordable so that all of us can finally have a beautiful hot pink calcite, whereas other than these finds they tend to be much more expensive. A nearly pristine plate, this has a few minor dings only, and is otherwise complete on the display face.
