Calcite coated by Hematite druse

Item Description

A great representative Calcite specimen from India featuring dozens of sharp white "dog tooth" scalenohedra which are coated by grey black Hematite druse. Virtually damage free on the display side, good quality overall. I know that materail from the Indian Trap Rocks are abundant these days, and hence undervalued, but one day this materail will no longer be found, and it will increase in value, just like any other world class material from a defunct locality.
