Item Description

An impressive large blocky calcite rhomb is jauntily set atop matrix from this famous extinct basalt traprock quarry. The pristine, 4.7 x 4.0 x 3.0 cm rhomb is highly lustrous, transparent to translucent and has light straw-yellow color. The striking cleft on the top lined with tiny rhombs is a super accent to this very fine calcite. This is an exceptional calcite for the locale.
