Item Description

A good quality, colorless, prismatic colorless group of scalenohedral crystals of Calcite from one of the most famous districts in the world for the species. Calcites from Cumberland are among the most desirable, appreciated and beautiful specimens extant for what is one of the msot common minerals on the planet. This piece has good form, and despite a tiny bit of edgewear, is in excellent condition overall. The largest crystal measures 2.6 cm.
