Item Description

Classic, amber calcite crystals are richly and aesthetically strewn across the top of the limestone matrix plate on this showy and excellent specimen from the famous Berry Materials Quarry. The gemmy and lustrous scalenohedrons have nifty, modified terminations and glow with rich color. The largest crystal, at 2.0 cm, on the right edge is doubly terminated. Nearly pristine, with only two tiny spots of contacting to the many crystals. Highly representative material from this noted locale from the Jaime Bird Collection.
