Item Description
A classic and aesthetic calcite specimen from the famous Mid-Continent Mine of the Tri-State District. A striking, highly lustrous and translucent, frosted/lightly etched/wavy faced, light amber calcite spike is jauntily attached to two smaller calcites and a shard of silicified limestone matrix. Complete all-around and nearly pristine, trivial termination wear is noted, but is certainly not a detraction. Old material from the George Feist Collection, # 2786. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!
