Item Description

A very aesthetic, two-sided matrix cluster of calcite crystals from this famous locale. The lustrous, glassy, transparent to translucent straw-yellow scalendohedrons are dominated by the impressive, upright 5.8 cm crystal and by the 5.0 cm, very nifty doubly terminated and twinned horizontal crystal. Both large crystals are pristine. The two fields of smaller crystals are essentially pristine. The accenting 3.3 cm crystal on the edge next to the doubly terminated crystal has a cleaved tip. A classy and excellent calcite from Elmwood.
