Item Description

Calcite specimens from Irai are world class and this is a fine and aesthetic small cabinet. A striking, stellate spray of variably-sized, frosted, colorless, scalenohedrons with nailhead terminations is beautifully set on the curved basalt crust covered with floral-patterned chalcedony. The large calcite is 3.7 cm long. Once abundunt, very little new material has been seen in the last few years. Choice material.
