Item Description
Classic and highly desirable Arizona calcite. Lustrous, translucent, gray to colorless, calcite "wheat-sheaves" are aesthetically set on hefty sulfide ore matrix. Several crystals are "bowties" and reach 2.5 cm. Pristine up to the periphery. Choice and rich calcite from the 1970s or early 1980s finds at this famous mine. Striking neon reddish-orange fluorescence! Ex Bob Trimingham Collection.
