A classic old combination piece with SPARKLY calcite blades composed of several generations of calcite (one sparkly secondary coating atop the discs), brilliant golden chalcopyrite crystals, and quartz. As with some others in this auction set, it is VERY LARGE, a remnant of the days when these were common and on the market from fresh mining, and rare today. The piece is simply sparkling and "fresh looking" and beautiful, with the contrasts of shapes and luster on it. It is in remarkable condition, as wellwith crystals to 4 cm and no obvious damage to this large display face except a few peripheral crystals on close exam. NOTE: 9 pounds in weight
