Item Description

A beautiful, lustrous and translucent, 6.4 cm, amber nailhead spar calcite crystal is aesthetically attached to a mounded cluster of large intergrown rubyjack sphalerite crystals, that are festooned with small chalcopyrite sphenoids. The calcite has just a bit of edge bruising, which is certainly only a modest detraction. This is fine and sculptural, two-sided old-timer from the famous Joplin Field and comes from the George Feist Collection # 1127. Valued at $450.
