A sculptural and striking, 360-degree calcite combination from this noted locale. Chalcopyrite and marcasite with lustrous, translucent, gray calcite scalenohedrons are a Brushy Creek Mine classic. Sparkly iridescent golden marcasite and chalcopyrite microcrystals fully coat the calcite scalenohedron. On this particular piece, the calcite began growing again, coating only part of the scalenohedron and growing glassy sharp crystals on the periphery. The aesthetics of this complete all-around and pristine example are most excellent. Very choice material from the Cynthia Payne Collection. A Missouri classic.
