Calcite casts w/ Galena, Sphalerite, Fluorite & Calcite

A dramatic and rare, casted specimen from Naica. Splendent galena and sphalerite crystals have casted large, intergrown calcite rhombs. Opalescent drusy quartz has both coated and filled the casts. Manganoan calcite crystals are sprinkled on all of the quartz faces. And beautifully perched on one edge is a 1.2 cm, gem, light green, fluorite cube. The opalescent drusy quartz (purple), fluorite (purple) and manganoan calcite (pink) fluoresce! For the pseudo/casted specialist or locality collector, this is a one-off stunner. Excellent material from the Dave Stoudt Mexico Collection # 1149. Probably 1970s-1980s vintage. Valued at $400.
