Item Description

An impressive, large, colorful and very uncommon form of aragonite/calcite from this noted locale. Most aragonites from here are the fabulous-looking flos ferri forms (cave formations that defy gravity). This pretty piece has finely laminated to more coarsely laminated light baby-blue and white layers. The striking piece is moderately translucent. Probably older material, but no proof.
