Calcite & Apophyllite (Miller Calcite Coll.)

Item Description

Calcite and apophyllite combination specimens of this quality and aesthetics are very uncommon from the quarries in the Nasik District. A sculptural, glassy, translucent, brown sugar, calcite rhomb is aesthetically set on and surrounded by blocky, glassy, colorless, apophyllite crystals. One corner of rhomb is cleaved, but this remains a very fine and showy example of the rare combination species. Ex Miller Calcite Collection # 2574.
