The aesthetics on this Jalgaon calcite are outstanding. Two, striking, water-clear to translucent, blocky, intergrown calcite rhombs are dramatically perched on the sculptural basalt crust covered with popcorn-like, drusy chalcedony and a smattering of very cute, pearlescent, stilbite blades. The calcites, to 5.0 cm on the diagonal, are essentially pristine with only the most infinitesimal edge and corner wear. You would be hard-pressed to find a more sculpturally arranged and beautiful Jalgoan combination piece. Valued at $1250-1500 and worth it.
