Sculptural small cabinet calcite and quartz combination from the now well-known but awfully remote Huanggang Mine. Striking rosettes of bone-white flattened calcite disks richly and aesthetically surround the impressive sceptered quartz crystal. The glassy, colorless 2.7 cm sharply terminated scepter rests atop the glassy complex densely stepped-growth light smoky stalk. This is a high temperature beta-style quartz crystal. Neon-orange calcite fluorescence. Ex Rock Currier Collection No. 9074 and acquired in 2014.
