Calcite and Heulandite on Quartz

Item Description

A large, sharp and glassy, 6.7 cm, colorless calcite crystal with crackly faces and hints of brown in the interior is aesthetically set on the mounded matrix of basalt covered with two generations of quartz crystals. Crowning the piece is a very nifty cauliflower of lustrous, colorless to brown, bladed heulandite. Both the calcite and heulandite are pristine. A very fine and showy combination specimen featuring a large and striking calcite crystal from recent finds at Jalgaon. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!
