Item Description

A VERY SHOWY and AESTHETIC calcite and galena combination specimen from the famous and now-closed Elmwood Mine. Two, intergrown, very glassy and transparent, doubly terminated, colorless calcite crystals are very jauntily attached to the side of lustrous galena cube. The complete all-around galena cube is only contacted on the back. This nifty Elmwood piece is very minimally impacted by one lightly bruised calcite termination, as you can see. But the association is so balanced, and rare from this mine, that I can forgive that slight. Certainly one of the more exceptional-looking calcite and galena combos around.
