Item Description

An aesthetic and sculptural calcite and fluorite combination from the famous Denton Mine. Three gemmy and lustrous, complex doubly terminated calcite crystals with pretty rich amber color are artistically set on the densely intergrown cluster of lustrous, translucent, color-zoned violet fluorite cubes with amber cores. The impressive large calcite is 3.7 cm long. The three large calcites are essentially pristine. The large calcite has a very small contact on one corner, where another crystal once lay, but no damage, per se. One spot trivial bruising is noted to one of the smaller calcites. This very fine cutie has multiple display possibilities. Ex Ross Lillie Collection # 0410 and self-collected by him from the Main Orebody in July, 1983. A classic and excellent Denton Mine combination.
