Item Description

An aesthetic and colorful combination specimen from the famous Mina Ojuela. A striking corsage of very glassy, colorless, flattened, calcite rhombs is beautifully set atop the sturdy gossan matrix. Isolated, tiny tufts of acicular green conichalcite line nifty horizontal vugs and really add color and artistic quality to this showy piece. The back holds a nice bonus, with more vugs holding both calcite and conichalcite. This fine piece probably dates to the 1970s finds at this historic locale.
