A striking, LARGE CABINET, calcite and amethyst specimen from recent finds at Irai, Brazil. The two, huge, gemmy and lustrous, light amber calcite scalenohedrons are dramatically set on and against a sculptural, boxwork/partitioned matrix covered sparkly, gemmy, amethyst crystals. The calcite crystals are beautifully striated and are pristine. The large calcite has a barely noticeable contact on the front, near the termination, but has no damage, per se. A very impressive, large combo piece from this noted locale. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!
