Item Description
Elmwood is the classic American location for gem calcite, if anything is. This is a beautiful, sparkling, amber colored twinned crystal, showing exceptional transparency and the deep color at tips that makes them great. It is not quite pristine, with a few dings on tips if you look really closely to see, but you do not see them at any distance even while holding it. So, it is possibly a relative bargain, even though it looks like a $2000-2500 mineral. Old piece sold by our local friend Doug Wallace in the 1990s (was $750 even back then). Hefty, big, and really colorful and balanced for the size range.
