Calcite (excellent twinned crystals - old classic)

Here we have a wonderful, showy, fine quality display specimen of Calcite from Santa Eulalia featuring several superb, sharp, lustrous, gemmy twinned Calcite crystals which range from colorless to a slightly reddish color (from iron oxide content) sitting atop contrasting Limonite matrix. The largest Calcite measures 2.6 cm across. There are essentially 5 main Calcite twins on the piece, and I can't find any damage on them anywhere. The piece has great balance and aesthetics and comes with a free custom lucite base for easy display. If you collect Mexican minerals, carbonates or worldwide Calcites, you can't let a piece of this size and quality pass you by for the low starting bid. Priced in the inventory at $3,500.
