Item Description

A rarely seen specimen of "dogtooth"-shaped crystals of soft grey-white Calcite measuring up to 6 mm sitting in a vug in host rock matrix. I don't have a lot of information on the piece other than a scrap of paper that said "Calcite, Hyde County, NC". If you collect minerals of North Carolina, or just oddball pieces from the United States, this is a cool rock to pick up for your collection.
