Item Description

A classic North Vernon Calcite specimen featuring good sized, sharp, lustrous (vitreous), golden color, gemmy, equant, rhombic scalenohedral crystals aesthetically sitting on matrix. The largest crystal measures 2.9 cm across. The piece is in good shape overall - despite a tiny bit of roughness on the back - and displays very well. You don 't see these specimens on the market anymore, and for a midwest Calcite specimen, it's pretty darn good.
