A big and eye-catching Calcite specimen from Joplin featruing a predominant, rich golden color scalenohedron with several accessory crystals in parallel growth. Showy, classic material from Joplin. It's hefty with good color and great crystal form. Minor nicks keep it from being 100% perfect on the display side, and it's obviously contacted on the bottom / back where it detached from the pocket, but overall it's still an impressive and worthwhile large cabinet display specimen of this well-known materail that is becoming less common on the market.
