Item Description

A classic and showy calcite scalenohedron from the famous Elmwood Mine. The glassy, gemmy crystal has the desirable golden-amber color with high luster. Complete all-around. The termination is pristine. A bit of edge wear/contacting and lower contacting, where other crystals once lay, is noted, but are certainly only modest detractions to this highly representative example from this classic US locale.
