Imposing and dramatic, this large cabinet specimen is composed enitrely of sharp 'dogtooth' Calcite crystals from Santa Eulalia. The Calcites are a pleasing light brown in color and they have very good luster. These sharp crystals range up to 4 cm in size, and they completely cover the know of matrix. As you can imagine, removing this large knob was traumatic, so some of the Calcites on the periphery were cleaved. Overall, the aesthetics are quite good, andf the overall size and appearance is impressive. valued $750
