Item Description
What a striking and fine quality Calcite from the famous San Antonio Mine, in Santa Eulalia. This piece features a gorgeous, GEMMY to translucent, rather lustrous, "plume" or "feather"-like group of white scalenohedral Cacite aesthetically flaring off matrix. I can't see any damage to the Calcite, and rarely does one encounter such good quality Calcites from this locality, as they're often opaque and not nearly as lustrous as this one. Take my word for it, this is a GOOD one, so if you collect Calcites, Mexican minerals or just good quality aesthetic display pieces, don't pass this one up. Valued at $500.
