Dal'negorsk has definitely become one of the premier contemporary specimen producing localities around. The area has managed to produce amazing quality sulfides and Calcites that do not receive the appreciation they deserve. The piece is a sharp, GEM/gemmy, lustrous, colorless, scalenohedral crystal of Calcite with excellent form and size. Good quality and better than most I've offered recently. Dal'negorsk Calcites are among the finest examples of the species in the world, and pieces like this were once plentiful on the market, but now hard fairly hard to find.
