Item Description

A beautiful cabinet display specimen featuring, sharp, compressed scalenohedral, colorless translucent Calcite crystals which grade in color variation from white to a reddish-brown hue (iron included) on matrix. Most of the crystals are damage free, but there are a few nicks here and there, along with edge wear along periphery where it was removed from pocket wall. An excellent and eye-catching specimen of this find, where the locality in Hubei Province was not divulged for some time. Valued at $800.
