Item Description

This attractive and interesting Calcite comes with a handful of labels stating it's fome "Yellow Lake Road", but I can't confirm at which roadcut it was found (north or south). This piece features a group of multi-terminated of yellow of whitish-yellow "stepped" scalenohedra that range from translucent to nearly opaque. The piece is crystallized nearly all the way around with only one cleaved crystal on the bottom. This piece is actually the only specimen of Calcite that I've seen from this locality. If you're a Calcite collector, this is a must-have, especially if you collect east coast specimens.
