Item Description
Attractive, sharp cluster of about a half-dozen rhombohedral Calcite crystals, all gemmy. The largest of the rhombs is 1.3 cm, and it is a fascinating crystal because it has preferential beveling and what appears to be a healed side. The bevels are perfect windows into the crystals. The Calcites are well-defined and gemmy throughout, and the smaller ones complement the larger one nicely. The main crystal does have one bruise on one corner. the Calcites have a mild orange fluorescence. A good thumbnail, and classic for the locality.
