Item Description

A striking and impressive, LARGE CABINET, plate of three, large, translucent, lustrous, and well-striated, light grayish-brown, calcite scalenohedrons very aesthetically set on a thin crust of starkly contrasting mordenite from recent finds at Jalgaon. The crystal with the attached mordenite blade is 8.3 cm long. A trivial bit of termination bruising is noted, but certainly nothing to detraction. New finds from Jalgaon are continuely amazing and this is a very find example. For some reason, scalenohedral "normal" calcites are rare from India!
