Item Description
A beautiful, blocky, gemmy and juicy, rich golden amber calcite rhomb from the 2009 Chinese find. These caused quite a stir at the 2009 Munich Show and the 2010 Tucson Show. The crystal is very glassy and limpid. Complete all-around, the contact on the back with another crystal has very modest bruising. The layered shale matrix on the bottom adds character. A bit of bruising is noted on a front edge. An excellent and representative specimen of this find, where the locality in Hubei Province was not divulged for some time.
