Item Description
A beautiful, sharp, blocky, dark amber calcite rhomb from the 2009 Chinese find. These caused quite a stir at the 2009 Munich Show and the 2010 Tucson Show. The crystal is very glassy and limpid and rests on a thin crust of hematite. Complete all-around. A termination edge has a bit of bruising and a very trivial bit more is noted lower on the sides. An excellent and highly representative specimen of this find, where the locality in Hubei Province was not divulged for some time.
