Item Description
Fantastic looking 360-degree arborescent 2-generation cave calcite from the West Camp of famed Santa Eulalia. Intensely sparkly, shimmering tiny second generation dogtooth calcite crystals totally covered the sculptural cluster of large first generation dogtooth crystals, to 4.5 cm. The broken base shows, that the large calcites are straw-yellow. One side has a nice hematite tint, adding color and character. Very interesting crystal chemistry and fluid flow here. Complete all-around and pristine. The base has been sawed to enhance the display. A striking and excellent Santa Eulalia cave calcite from the Tom Wolfe Collection and dating from the 1970s to 90s.
