Mineral specimens from this extinct Au-Ag mine are RARE. The impressive large, colorless, translucent and lustrous scalenohedrons have a very nifty secondary overgrowth of frosted, stepped-growth rhombs with shimmering luster under bright light. The display view is pristine. The underlying calcite fluoresces pink. Rare and desirable New Zealand calcite. Ex Tom Wolfe Calcite Collection.
