A nifty and unusual looking calcite and amethyst combination from this well-known locale. Two generations of calcite scalenohedrons compose the striking cluster aesthetically set on the pretty blush-purple amethyst crystal plate. All of the original larger scalenohedrons are encased in an unusual second generation of smaller crystals. A very nifty preferential sugary frosting covers ONLY the terminations of the first generation calcites! The calcites are up to about 4.0 cm long. A dramatic, excellent and different calcite and amethyst combination from Irai. Pristine.
