Fantastic sprays of second generation dogtooth calcite spikes dramatically attached to a sharp calcite spire form a striking and beautiful specimen from Irai. The upper spray is really elegant. The bit of matrix is a fine accent to this very aesthetic calcite. All of the crystals appear to be pristine. Amazing for such a soft mineral. NEON orange-pink fluroescence. Irai calcites were very common 10-15 years ago. You don't see many around today. Especially not of this quality. Ex Cynthia Payne Calcite Collection.
