Beautiful blush-pink calcite fluorescence on this sculptural and impressive multi-generational calcite with quartz from the famous Valenciana Mine at Guanajuato. Large, sharp, very glassy, translucent, complex 2nd-generations rhombs with satin lustre faces are very aesthetically set on the piece. The striking large rhomb is 6.5 cm. These rhombs rest on a very large blocky calcite rhomb, that is covered with drusy quartz. The flanking accenting matrix consists of nifty clusters of frosted quartz points sprinkled with tiny gemmy 2nd-generation rhombs. Complete all-around and essentially pristine. The contact on the back is out-of-sight. A classic and exceptional calcite and quartz combination from Guanajuato.
