Item Description
These are some of the most unusual and showy calcites to have come out of China in the last few years. A dramatic, complex specimen composed of two, iron-stained, translucent rhombohedral calcite disks with a pleasing reddish hue (pagoda style), aesthetically perched on top and on the side of an earlier generation of a hematite-coated and included, lustrous calcite of a different habit entirely (scalenohedral). Complete all-around, very nearly pristine, with only trivial edge wear to capping disk. Excellent and very aesthetic material from this find.
